NOT TOO LONG THIS TIME ...

it's only been ONE week since my last post, can you believe it?!

not much new to report yet .. i still haven't managed to take care of the picture issue mainly b/c my computer is now not working .. ALWAYS SOMETHING!! fortunately i have a friend's old laptop so at least i can still use the internet .. i do have some pictures loaded on here so hopefully i'll get some time soon to post some of them ..

yesterday we took the kids to the library (it's a weekly thing in the summer) .. i'm soo glad that they enjoy reading, well all but one are thrilled w/it anyway .. they love the puzzles too ..

earlier this week we got to take them to IHOP to use one of their coupons from the library summer reading program .. Jordan had been asking to go there for a bit anyway .. it was very nice to get to enjoy a meal out w/the family .. dad was at work but mom joined us .. we all enjoyed it & the kids meals were free so that's always a plus ;)

tonight we are going to the fair .. i should have more pictures after that of course .. the kids are sooo excited .. i just hope the weather is good ..

and since today is Briana's bday she is having her bday party tomorrow .. i changed the countdown on the side, now it reflects the time til school starts ;)

hope y'all are enjoying your last month of summer .. i can't believe it is almost over already :O the time goes soooo very fast .. i'm so grateful i've been able to be home w/ethan this summer .. we've had so many fun times together .. what a great blessing it has been!

AUGUST ...

ok so if i don't have pictures to post i'm not very good at keeping up w/my blog :( i'm sorry .. the problem is i do have pictures but i haven't managed to get them on my computer yet .. as much as i ♥ technology it can be so frustrating at times!

not much new to report but thought i should add a post since it's been two months .. whoa!

* we had a great time on our trip to PA .. can't wait to get those pictures posted ..
* ethan is registered for school .. i can't believe he starts kindergarten in a month :O
* i am still looking for a job but have REALLY ENJOYED being home w/ethan for the summer ..
* my van didn't pass emissions & the repair cost too much .. i still owe too much on the van so it wasn't even worth bothering w/it .. besides that i won't have the money anytime soon so why make payments on a vehicle i can't drive?! the only problem is that leaves me w/out a vehicle .. if u know me u know how that's torture for me .............. i have no idea what i'll do but something has to work out eventually .. ugh ..
* my cousin is back in the area so that's exciting .. we always play games at her house & i've missed that .. at her welcome home bbq, the first time i got to see her since she got here, we were playing cranium .. fun! even my nephew played w/us & he liked it whether he admits it to anyone or not .. he's 10 so that's normal ;)

that's all i can think of at the moment .. it's not like my life is terribly exciting, especially now w/no money & no vehicle .. just gives me lots of quality time w/my family .. no complaints there :D
