the weekend is finally here ...

I am so happy that it's Friday and it's my weekend off .. another hr & half til I'm outta here & then I have 3 days off .. yay!!!

L♥VE the countdowns ..

Ok so I really l♥ve doing the countdown widgets on my blog .. I thought I was good w/the first two but this morning on the way to work I realized I needed one more ..

the Toby Keith concert has become an annual tradition w/my son .. lots of people think I'm crazy for taking such a little one w/me (trust me I got lots of comments & looks last year) but I wouldn't have it any other way .. we wear our matching TK t-shirts and have tons of fun .. he talks about it ALL year: he's either talking about what a great time he had or looking forward to going the next time .. sure he falls asleep by the very end but it's a Saturday night so who cares?!

anyhoo .. this morning on my way to work I heard a TK song on the radio .. since they've been talking about the concerts a lot this week w/the mega tickets on sale (I'd love to be able to do that!!) I have been thinking about our trip to the concert .. then when I heard the song this morning & got excited I thought about the new countdown for my blog .. hence the most recent additon ..

Work in Progress

so I thought I would work on my blog today but that didn't happen as much as I would have liked .. unfortunately it's been a day .. I did get my nephew Michael's birthday from last year posted so if you're interested check out March of 2008 .. guess it's about time since soon I'll have this year to post *wink* .. oh well, better late than never is my motto!!

maybe I'll have a better day tomorrow & maybe, just maybe, I'll get some more posts finished .. I've still got quite a few to do to finish up 2008 .. I'm still working on getting pictures for 2009 .. I finally got them on my computer like I mentioned previously but still haven't managed to get my computer to cooperate so that I can get them on disks .. if I had the pics here at work I'd be able to easily post them, not as much time in the evenings at home .. oh well ~ just know it's coming .. like me my blog is definitely a work in progress *wink* .. ♥ I know you love me anyway ♥

BLOG CRAZY ...

ok so I think I've gone a little blog crazy now .. I've gone from not updating nearly enough to almost just right to posting too much .. that's what happens when you don't have enough to do at work ;)

unfortunately I don't have the pictures to do some quality posts while I'm spending all this time on my blog b/c my computer is being moody and wouldn't download them to my CD for me to bring to work .. so I did real good in getting them off the camera in a timely fashion but now there are other issues .. always something you know .. I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to post the pictures .. in the meantime I'll try to find something else to do so I don't fill this w/too many needless items ..

although I think the countdowns are fun .. the birthday one will just change as we go .. Michael is the closest one .. he's my nephew who will be turning 3 this year, wow! after that I'll change it to the next one & keep going .. I know the kids will love it ..

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

So as you know we love holidays around our house .. Valentine's Day is no different .. this is what was waiting for Ethan .. there was the Spiderman chocolates b/c you gotta have the good stuff but then he also got a Spiderman electric toothbrush w/toothpaste (anything to make the nightly routine easier) ..

M&M's of course although those are mostly so he can share w/mommy ;) and there's a Mickey Mouse Valentine book plus two Sesame Street coloring books .. it's nice when you buy stuff early & forget about it ..

here he is when he first saw his loot ..

smiling as he "reads" his card .. all day long he said "Mommy, I LOVE Valentine's Day!" .. of course he does, he got great stuff!!

then I was pleasantly SHOCKED when Hugo arrived w/3 red roses and an animated animal ..

ok .. I didn't realize I did the video on my camera sideways .. I'll redo it later but you can still watch it this way .. we LOVE it .. Ethan & I played him off & on all day ..

so I'm not promising anything but I'm off to a good start .. I got the pictures off the camera on the same day & posted them on the blog .. hopefully I can keep it up! we had a talent show for primary as well so hopefully I can get those posted tomorrow or the next day .. stay tuned!

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS ... I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO FIX MY BLOG, YAY!! NOW I CAN MAKE SURE ALL MY POSTS ARE IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER SO I CAN KEEP UPDATING LAST YEAR & THIS YEAR AT THE SAME TIME W/OUT CONFUSING ANYONE, MYSELF IN PARTICULAR ;)

P.S. ~ I FOUND WHERE I PUT ALL MY CAMERA STUFF (USB, ETC) SO HOPEFULLY I CAN BE BETTER ABOUT GETTING THE PICTURES ONTO THE COMPUTER IN A MORE TIMELY MANNER .. NEVER KNOW, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE RIGHT?!

My Blog ~~ My Craziness

Ok .. you all know me so you understand this is normal for me

I realize how backwards this seems but I haven't figured out a way to organize these posts in chronological order (if there is one) so for now you'll just have to bear with me .. I am trying to get the rest of 2008 finished .. as you can see it is listed under whatever day I do it so Briana's bday party which was in August is posted under Feb 2009, after the Holiday Newsletter .. right now I just want to get everything posted so you can see it .. maybe later I'll figure out how to change the order so it's listed correctly ..

My goal this year is to be better on top of this blog so that I can have things posted in order in the first place .. once again you know me so we'll see how that goes .. doing the posts on here is not usually the problem, it's getting the pictures off my camera & onto the computer ;)
